Accessibility Statement

Last updated: March 12, 2026

Our Commitment

Solid# (SolidNumber) is committed to ensuring digital accessibility for people with disabilities. We continually improve the user experience for everyone and apply the relevant accessibility standards to our platform, customer websites, and public-facing properties.

Conformance Standard

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA — the standard referenced by the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III, Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act, and the European Accessibility Act (EAA / EN 301 549).

Accessibility Features

Our platform includes the following accessibility features, available to all users via the “Accessibility” link in the footer and mobile menu:

  • Reduce Motion — Pauses all animations and transitions for users with vestibular disorders or seizure sensitivity.
  • High Contrast — Increases text and border contrast to meet or exceed WCAG AA 4.5:1 contrast ratios.
  • Larger Text — Scales all text by 125% for users with low vision.
  • Highlight Links — Underlines and outlines all hyperlinks for easier identification.
  • Readable Font — Applies a system sans-serif font with increased letter and word spacing, helpful for users with dyslexia.
  • Large Cursor — Enlarges the mouse cursor for users with motor impairments or low vision.

These preferences are saved locally and persist across visits. They are opt-in only — the default experience is unchanged for all users.

Technical Measures

Solid# takes the following technical measures to ensure accessibility:

  • Semantic HTML with proper heading hierarchy and landmark regions
  • ARIA attributes for interactive components (dialogs, menus, forms)
  • Keyboard navigation support throughout the application
  • Skip-to-main-content link on every page
  • Alt text on meaningful images; decorative images marked as presentational
  • Form inputs with associated labels and error descriptions
  • Focus indicators visible on all interactive elements
  • Color is never used as the sole means of conveying information
  • ESLint accessibility rules enforced in our development pipeline
  • Automated accessibility testing with axe-core

Customer Websites

Websites built on the Solid# platform inherit accessibility features automatically. The accessibility widget is available on all customer sites, and our CMS block components are built with WCAG 2.1 AA compliance in mind — including proper ARIA roles, keyboard navigation, and semantic structure.

Data Collection & Privacy

Accessibility preferences are stored in your browser's local storage only. We do not collect, transmit, or store your accessibility settings on our servers. No personal data is gathered through the accessibility widget.

For our full data practices, see our Privacy Policy.

Known Limitations

We are actively working to improve accessibility across our platform. Current areas of ongoing work include:

  • Color contrast refinements on some decorative gradient elements
  • Enhanced screen reader support for real-time chat and voice features
  • Expanded keyboard shortcuts documentation
